Data Privacy

Your data on the Adler Cup

Participants do explicitly approve the publication of competition results, photo and video shooting of the competitions (and agree to the usage of a video-based referee supporting system) and waive all rights regarding such photo and video material. With registration participants approve the electronic storage of tournament related personal data and information, as well as electronic publication of competition results, photos and videos through the internet and the related associations. Each participant can object the publication, and this will have no negative effect on the athletic participation. Such objections are to be made in writing addressed to the organizers.

Storing access data on server log files

You can visit our website without providing any information about yourself. All we store is access data in ‘server log files’, such as the name of the file requested, the date and time of request, the quantity of data transferred and the provider making the request. These details are evaluated purely for the purpose of ensuring that the website works properly and for improving it, and they do not allow us to deduce who you are.

Collecting and using data to process registrations and open club & player accounts

We collect personal details if you voluntarily provide us with them in the course of your registration, when making contact with us (such as by contact form or e-mail) and when opening a club or player account. The entry forms involved will show you exactly which details are collected. We use the details you provide us to process contracts and handle your enquiries. Once a resgitration is fully processed or if your account is deleted, your details will be locked for use and, once any retention periods applicable under applicable law have lapsed, they will be deleted unless you have expressly allowed us to keep using your details or if we have reserved the right to utilize them further as permitted under law, and as stated below. You can delete your account at any time either by sending a message to the contact details shown in our contact section.

Passing on details to execute the tournament

In order to execute the tournament, we pass on your details to judo affiliated systems (e.g. the competition system, the results system or the systems allowing live feeds of the Adler Cup), if we need to do so to process the tournament. In order to process payments, we provide the necessary payment details to the financial institution appointed for the payment, and any payment service providers we appoint, and to any payment service which you have selected during the order process.

Use of details when registering for e-mail newsletter
